As the sun sets on tired so called Conservative parties like the Liberals and Nationals, how about something different .... OUR Voice from the Heart.
To the people of the bush, the paddocks, the backstreets, and the wide horizons:
Australia's cities have grown tall, bright, and loud. But in all their noise, they forgot the quiet strength that built this country. While bureaucrats sip lattes in glass towers, the bush swelters, floods, burns, and perseveres. We carry the weight of droughts and bad harvests, of crumbling roads and shrinking schools, while policies are written by people who've never set foot in a sheep yard.
They talk about progress, but it's a one-way road out of the bush. Hospitals are closing. Rail lines are rusting. Kids are leaving. And what's replacing them? Mega-farms owned by offshore shareholders. Decisions shaped by algorithms. Rural voices drowned by imported ideology.
Delivered by people who’ve never watched a bore run dry. They came for the land. They came for our water. And they do not care about us.
We’ve seen what happens when someone from the bush tries to speak to the cities. They get cheered, then chewed up. Jacinta learned that the hard way. The city doesn't listen. It consumes.
If only the cities were still like that shown in the video.
The bush is not just the outback or the people from Dusty Gulch. It is the people in the towns and the regions, those being plagued with wind farms, solar farms and destruction of our beloved countryside and townscapes.
We stand united in the face of those who would seek to break us.
And yes, they come with their computer modelling, their slick words, their promises of prosperity that never reach the dust under our boots. They sell shiny futures, but we know the price: our land, our soul, our way of life.
But no more.
RATTY Manifesto
For Rural, Autonomy, Truth, Tradition, and You
To the heart of the bush, to every paddock and backroad,
We, the RATTY loyalists stand firm against those who seek to control us.
We won’t be swayed by empty promises or foreign rats that invade our lands. This is our home, our way of life, and we’ll defend it with everything we’ve got.
Rural
Rural life is more than just a place - it’s a way of being. It’s the pulse of this land, where the soil is thick with history and the future is built by the sweat of our hands.
This is where the values of community, self-reliance, and the land run deep. We don’t need anyone telling us how to farm or how to live.
Rural isn’t backwards. It’s grounded.
It’s where you fix your neighbour's fence before your own. Where wisdom comes from the land, not a university. Where community still means something. If you're looking for real environmentalism, look to the bloke who knows every bend in his river and every crack in his dam.
Autonomy
Autonomy is our freedom to choose, to act, to thrive without interference. It’s the power to make our own decisions, to protect our resources, and to ensure that our future is in our own hands.
From the paddock to the homestead, we will decide what’s best for us, not some bureaucrat sitting in an office sometimes a thousand miles away.
We're not livestock to be herded by policy. Autonomy means we decide what happens to our land, our water, our future.
Not the UN. Not a think tank. Not a tech firm. The people who work the land should shape the land.
Truth
The truth is in the stories, the soil, and the sweat.
We know what’s real, and we’re not afraid to speak it. We won't lie to you. Life's tough. The harvest fails. The banks close.
But the stories of the bush are real, and so are our solutions. We know the difference between a hard season and a con job. And we’re done being conned.
Tradition
We’ll defend our way of life - our culture, our community - against anyone who tries to rewrite it. There is value in what came before.
In the shed wisdom. In ANZAC stories told around campfires. In the recipes passed down in CWA halls.
We won’t let that die for the sake of shiny slogans. We don’t want to be rebranded. We want to be remembered.
You
This is your fight. The bush survives because of people like you and me...real, resilient, and ready to rise. You are the difference. The farmer. The driver. The volunteer firefighter. The CWA marmalade or scone queen. The bloke who mows the town oval for nothing. RATTY is not a party. It’s a return. A reckoning. A rising.
So no to ratifying globalist agendas. But we will be RATTYfying this nation - one fencepost, one bush poet, one stubborn yarn at a time.
We are the bush. We are the glitch in their algorithm. And we will fight back.
The time has come to take back what’s ours. RATTY is the call. And we will not be silenced. Or will we?
We are the bush. We are the small towns. The people from the regions.
Do you still feel it? That fire in the belly, the dust in your veins, the heartbeat of the land?
Maybe they’ve forgotten what it means to be Australian. But we haven’t.
Imagine it: RATTY flooding the airwaves, the hashtags, the shearing sheds. The suits in Canberra wouldn’t have a clue - but WE would.
Forget MAGA. Think RATTY. Rural. Autonomy. Truth. Tradition. You.
It’s not just a belief. It’s a reckoning. Is anyone prepared to take up our call?
